Stardust and moonshine

Been a week without you sweetheart. Trying not to cry everyday is really hard. I miss you so much and I think about you all the time. I think about all the adventures I should’ve taken you on and hate myself for not doing enough for your little soul. I think about what if in another life, you and I get in an old bronco with our bags packed and pillows and blankets all in the back and we’d just drive together. We’d hit some breakfast place by the coast and you’d run in fields with me. Maybe someday we can do that baby. Maybe when I reach you, we can do that okay? I promise we can do anything you want. Just be near me for now. I still need you. It’s too hard being in this world and living without you. My heart just feels so heavy and my head is always hurting because I’m choking back tears every few moments. But I told rocket tonight that we can pretend it feels like your with us. I’ll pretend you’re laying by my side and I can hear you snoring away. I’ll pretend that I got to say goodbye to you. Because now I have to wait till I can see you again as you are in my memories. Just watch over all of us and make sure tiger and rocket and bun and the birds are all in good health. I can’t lose anyone else right now. I was never ready to let you go baby.
